Breast Lift

As we age, our skin loses elasticity. Breast skin is no exception. Weight loss, breastfeeding and pregnancy can make breast skin lose elasticity even faster. That allows breasts to fall.  

A breast lift involves repositioning existing breast tissue so it is higher and tighter. The nipple can also be reduced in size if it has become stretched. If one breast is lower than the other, breast lift surgery can correct that as well. Excess skin or tissue might be removed to improve elasticity.

Breast lift surgery provides long-lasting but not permanent results. Aging and gravity can continue to work against breast elasticity even after the procedure.
