Breast Reconstruction
If you have had a mastectomy or suffered another trauma affecting the breast, breast reconstruction surgery can help restore the shape, size and appearance of your breast. Common among breast cancer survivors, this surgery can help women restore their figures and regain confidence.
The goal of breast reconstruction surgery is to create as natural a breast as possible. This can be achieved using fat or skin from your abdomen, or donor muscle if needed. If the chest wall has enough tissue left, a breast implant can be an option. Often, a breast lift, breast reduction or breast augmentation performed on the existing breast can restore symmetry.
Dr. Khan will assess your case and work with the other providers involved in your care to put together the treatment plan that is right for you.
